Halloween

This year we carved, painted and drilled pumpkins!  We didn't get pictures of the final products...not sure what we were thinking.  This month Brady gets so excited when he sees pumpkins ("pumpum") anywhere.  When we walk around the neighborhood he wants to go and touch each pumpkin he sees, and tries to lift them up.

We trick or treated a couple times this year.  First, the weekend before Halloween at an outdoor shopping center with cousin Ella.  Once they got the hang of it, the boys were pretty excited to pick out a piece of candy at each store.  On Halloween night, I took the boys to one house....then Luke decided he wanted to go back to the house and hand out candy.  But Brady wanted to keep going - he never wants to go inside.  So Luke and I headed back home to hand out candy while Jim and Brady went out.  About 10 minutes later, cousin Clara, Joel, Jim and Brady knock on our door.  Luke loves playing with Clara, so he decided to go out and trick or treat with them.  It sounds like they had lots of fun and Brady was leading the pack!  The boys had a Halloween party at Joy's and Luke also had one at preschool.  So they made out pretty good in the candy department! :)

Nightly routine - kisses and hugs before bed.

Having fun at the Creighton game!  They lasted until half time which we thought was pretty good! :)
