Look-A-Likes

I recently saw this picture of my dad and my grandparent's house and thought Brady looks so much like Dad when he was a baby.  Can you see the resemblance?  Grandma, how did you get Dad to sit still and smile for a good photo?! :)

Last weekend Jessica and I met up with our BFF Kacie in Des Moines.  We had a nice lunch, got some shopping in, and playtime with Danny.  Kacie is 30 weeks pregnant with her second son, and Jessica is 24 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.  It'll be fun to get all of our little ones together for some playtime in the future!

Brady is cruising and loves "exploring".  He likes opening any and all doors, and sometimes closes himself in our bedroom...and with him sitting right on the other side of the door it's tricky to rescue him!

January 2012 update

Jan. 1, 2012 - Brady at 9 months. 

His 9 month check up was shot-free (woohoo!).  Brady is healthy, growing boy.  He was 29.5" (75%) and 22.4# (85%).  He continues to wear about double his age in size (18 mo clothes now).  It's fun to put him in Luke's hand-me-downs and remember when Luke wore them.  Brady is crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything and cruising across the furniture.

Our big boy!  Luke has been doing such a great job potty training.  He goes most days without a single accident!  A couple weeks ago we registered Luke for preschool starting next year (for 2 years).  I about teared up when we got the "acceptance" card!  My baby is getting so big!
