A couple weekends ago we traveled to Fargo, North Dakota. We had a really nice time visiting Jim's grandpa and his aunt, uncle and family. We don't get to see them much, so it was great to be able to see them all! We packed up the minivan and traveled the 6 hours on Thursday evening. The boys did great...watched movies, colored and slept on the way there.
On Friday, the boys and Jim had so much fun swimming in the hotel's pirate themed pool. Later we got to visit Jim's grandpa, Grandpa Jim. He looks great and is doing really well! Jim's cousin, Parker, his wife, Kristen and two boys, Owen and Liam; as well as Jim's aunt Carol and Uncle Dorwin came to the hotel. They boys had fun swimming.
On Saturday Jim ran in 10k in the Fargo Marathon, and his cousin Parker's wife, Kristen, ran in the full marathon. It rained during Jim's race, but cleared up in time for the marathon. The boys and I met Jim at the finish line. Luke thought it was so cool, he was proud of his daddy!
Later in the evening on Saturday we went to Carol and Dorwin's house for a BBQ. Our boys had such a fun time playing with everyone, especially Owen. I enjoyed some cuddles with little Liam. We had a wonderful time watching the boys run around the yard - Carol said it reminded her of Parker, Jim and Bryce running around in the backyard when they were little. :)
On Sunday we headed home around 7am...Brady wakes up at 5:30 and since we were in one hotel room, he woke everyone else up - so we got up and hit the road. The boys did great on the way home too! They both took naps, watched movies and played. Enjoy the pictures below!
