Swanson's visit, Easter & 1 month old!

Wow, this month has flown by! Brady is already a month old! Jim and I were talking about how he already looks so much bigger in his car seat. He's a very good baby. He's had a couple nights of sleeping for 6 or 7 hour stretches - love those nights! :) Below are some pictures from the past month.

Neil, Mary Jo and Tara visited a couple weeks ago to meet Brady. We had a nice time hanging out. Brady loves snuggling with everyone and Luke had fun playing and wrestling with Grandpa.

As you can see Luke likes being around his little brother.

Happy Easter! Luke had fun hunting for Easter eggs, especially after he realized there were treats inside. :)

After Easter brunch Luke got to hunt for more Easter eggs at the restaurant. He filled the little sack they gave him as full as he could!

Brady is 1 week old!

It's been a week since Brady was born! I've been busy re-cooping and taking care of Brady while Jim has been a big help around the house and has his days busy taking care of Luke. Brady is a good baby (so far) so overall it's been a pretty easy transition bringing him home.

Aunt Jen stopped by for a quick visit while she was in town for work. She got Luke these fun glasses (which he broke right away) and a balloon that Luke loves playing with.

Naptime!

Brady sleeps a lot, so it's fun when he's awake. He's very alert and likes to look around. He has been sleeping pretty well at night. He's been waking every 3-4 hours at night, and he'll go for 4-5 hours during the day. He's a good eater and sleeper and rarely gets upset.

Luke is loving his little brother. He's always asking where Baby Brady is and likes to "help" me change his diaper, get his binky, etc. He likes to show Brady his toys and says "he likes it!". Every so often Luke will call Brady "that guy". :)

Brady Neil Swanson Arrives!

Luke checking out his new baby brother with Grandpa. When Luke first got to the hospital, he saw mama in the hospital bed and he started crying and ran out of the room. Luckily Aunt Amanda had brought him gifts so he opened them up and got a new Jessie doll from Toy Story and a Buzz Lightyear arm. It sounds wierd but its cool and he likes it.
