Luke is walking!

Today we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's to celebrate Christmas...and Luke started walking! We've been encouraging him to walk between us for weeks. Today he decided to take 3 or 4 steps from Jessica to Jim! Then he continued to walk between us. He was having a blast! By the end of the day he was exhausted. We're very proud of him...but I think we're in trouble now :)

Professional Pictures

We finally got our professional pictures back! So we can FINALLY get Christmas cards out! We had the photographer come to our house and take pictures a few weeks ago. Luke wasn't in the mood to smile very much, but she still got some good pictures. Luke is teething like crazy....the front four teeth on top are coming in and he has two one-year molars coming in. Poor guy! Despite teething he's still playful and happy....most of the time.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Luke visited Santa today! He did not like Santa very much though, he just wanted mommy back. We enjoyed some time at home last week when our office closed due to the snow storm. Luke is beginning to feel much better, we think his ear infection has cleared up. Luke loves taking "walks" but he doesn't want to walk on his own yet. We are gearing up for Christmas and are ready to celebrate the holidays with our families!!

Happy 1st Birthday Luke!!

Luke turned ONE last Friday! We can't believe our baby is already one year old...time flew by! Luke has his one year check up today and has to get a few shots. :( He's a trooper though. Here are some pictures from Luke's bday!

Last weekend Luke got to go see Danny Meyer (my friend's Kacie's 8 month old son) in Iowa City. They had lots of fun playing together! Luke has had a cold the past few days but he seems to be feeling better today. This week we have Thanksgiving and then Luke's first birthday on Friday!! I can't believe he's a year old already!

Here are some new pictures and videos! Luke will be one year old in a week, I can't believe it!!
He loves going for walks while holding onto our hands. He'll stand by himself but when he realizes it he gets scared and will grab for something or sit down. Pretty soon he'll be walking all over the place!
