Brady's 1st Birthday Party

Last weekend Brady turned 1!  I can't believe my baby is one year already.  I swear each year goes by faster than the last.  Below are a lot of pictures from his first birthday party.  It was a "You Are My Sunshine" theme.  This is the song that soothed him as a newborn, so I've sang it to him ever since.  He is our little sunshine. :)  Grandpa Neil and Grandma Jo spent the weekend with us.  Brady and Luke loved all the attention and fun with Grandma and Grandpa.  Brady even shared his room with them, and got to rock with Grandpa in the middle of the night. Grandpa and Grandma didn't seem to mind having some middle-of-the-night snuggle time with Brady. :)
On Saturday, while Jim and I got ready for the party, the boys went on a walk to the near by park with Grandma and Grandpa.  They happened upon the annual Spring Fling and stuck around for the Easter Egg hunt.  It sounds like they had a great time and Luke brought back a lot of eggs!
After Brady's nap, the party began!  We opened presents, ate good food and cake and had a lot of fun!  Thank you all for the great presents and helping us celebrate Brady's birthday!

Brady found my new decor about 2 minutes after they were put out.... will I ever learn?

Soon both boys were playing with the lemons :)

 What a sweet face!

Brady thought that it was hysterical when Grandpa was showing him the blossoms on our tree. :)

Luke was so proud of how he lined up all the lemons, and then he counted them for Grandma :)

ONE!  Brady woke from his nap to a house full of people

Brady likes to go on "walks" holding our hands, but he doesn't want to walk on his own yet.

Present time!  Luke was a great help opening the presents.  Brady thought the tissue paper was lots of fun. :)

Brady wouldn't keep the Birthday hat on for a second!

My camera stopped working before we ate cake.  Brady started by playing with the frosting...then, after discovering that it was edible, he stuffed his face!  He was a mess!  It was so cute...I will post some pictures once I get some from people.

Happy Birthday sweet Brady!!
