Wow...it's been awhile! Here's a quick update on the fam.
Brady is almost 6 months old! I can hardly believe it. He is a couple of weeks away from sitting up on his own. He love sitting up in his bumbo or in the excersaucer or on someone's lap. Brady is a very happy boy. He smiles at everything and is easy to make laugh. He LOVES his big brother! He gets so excited to see Luke and even smiles at the sound of his voice. It's so cute. Brady is wearing 9 & 12 month clothes. It's fun dressing him in Luke's old clothes and remembering Luke wearing them. We recently started giving Brady rice cereal...he loves it and is getting much better at eating. I'm going to start him on veggies in the next week or so. He still gets up at least twice a night and will only go back to sleep if I nurse. I looked back at Luke's baby book and he stopped eating at night at 3 months..still woke up at night, but didn't have to eat to fall back asleep. I'm going to talk to Brady's doctor during his 6 month check up to make sure he doesn't need to eat at night. Then hopefully we can train him to sleep longer at night, so that I can get better sleep too. Brady is such a good baby and a sweetheart.
Luke will be 3 years old in a couple of months. He is doing really good at potty training (this week he's been doing great)! He's been going successfully at Joy's several times a day. Luke surprises us every day with what he says and now understands. He loves his movies - Cars and Rio are his faves this month. Luke is really starting to show us his independence...he likes to dress and undress himself and do things "by myself". Except when it comes to picking up his toys...then he wants us to help him. :) It's so fun to listen to the dialog he creates between his "guys" when he's playing along. He has quite the imagination! Luke loves to wrestle and tackle his dad, grandpas and uncles.
Jim and I are staying busy with the boys. Jim is glad football has started back up! We're looking forward to fall, but not the winter weather around the corner. I'm going to try to be better about posting on the blog more...even for my sake it's fun to look back at what's been going on in our lives.

Me and my boys :)
Brady - just shy of 6 months; Luke - 2 3/4 :)
Notice the small patch of hair sticking up on Brady's head? He has this little patch of hair that is longer than the rest of his hair...and it sticks straight up!

Yay! Thanks for the update! Brady has changed so much since the last time I saw him...think it's time for a visit. :)
