Happy New Year!

Happy 2010! We've had a great holiday season! We got snowed in at our house with my family on Christmas Eve. We had fun lounging around, eating good food and opening presents on Christmas day. Luke enjoyed tearing off every little piece of wrapping paper....and then gets mad if we couldn't get his new toy out of the packaging immediately! :) On Saturday we were able to make the trek to Cedar Rapids to celebrate Christmas with Jim's family. Luke discovered the stairs and loved crawling up and down them. Jim and I took the week after Christmas off and enjoyed a couple days at home with Luke. Mary Jo and Neil came and visited over New Years and let Jim and I go out on New Years Eve with my sisters. Overall it was a great holiday season!
Luke is teething like crazy....1 year molars and eye teeth have come in. He's found his belly button...and can find mine, ha! He's getting great at walking but will only walk between people if we prompt him...his preference is still crawling, or walking while holding our hands.
